Les Pesquies Chateau is located in the Occitanie region ( The Old Languedoc Roussillon), one of the most beautiful areas in southern France bordering Spain and Andorra to the south and the Mediterranean to the east.

Since ancient times, Occitanie has been growing wine, favouring an ideal climate for wine making, mild bright winters and hot dry summers. In Occitanie there are 40,000 hectares of wine and it is the the world's largest wine region.

At the beautiful chateau Les Pesquiès we offer accommodation in cozy southern French country atmosphere.
Enjoy the nature, the silence and the view of the snowy Pyrenees. Or go on day trips and absorb the history of the ancient fortress towns of Minerve, Carcassonne and Mirepoix.

After a day as a tourist, relax in the grounds of the chateau, or have a swim in the pool. Prepare dinner with ingredients from the local markets in the kitchen and enjoy the local wine.

If you are more into active holidays, there is the possibility of hiking in the Pyrenees, thermal baths, mountainbiking, rafting, canoeing, hightree walking etc.

With its 900m2, the chateau can host up to 24 people.
Les Pesquies and the surroundings has much to offer. You can choose to spend the day at the chateau and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful scenery.
Take a swim in the pool, or relax in the grounds with a book and enjoy panoramic views of the Pyrenees.
There is access to fishing in the grounds of the chateau as well as football, table tennis, or basketball.
The area offers many shopping opportunities.The most authentic French food culture is to be found at one of the many local markets in the towns around the chateau. The food can be prepared in either the kitchen of the château or in the summer kitchen next to the pool.The meal can be enjoyed by the pool, in the dining room or by the chateaus south-facing façade overlooking the Pyrenees.
On request, a French chef can be arranged to prepare a meal. A wine tasting can also easily be arranged. The Danish owner will be happy to help with your requests.

The exciting area with its many catharcastels, medieval towns, vibrant French atmosphere in the local markets and the villagesfetes are definitely worth a visit.
If the active holiday is more you, there are several options availabel. High-tree walking, white water rafting, gocart, downhill mountainbike, hiking in the Pyrenees, thermal baths or cycling around the chateau.
